Welcome to CIOP online
We are an organization dedicated to serving the needs of the I-O profession in the greater Chicagoland area.
That covers a large and diverse group of people, but our goal is to be inclusive of everyone, from new students just starting out at one of the many local I-O programs to grizzled veterans who still remember rotating factors by hand. It doesn't matter whether you're in the city or a far off suburb, academic or practitioner, internal or external, job seeker or hiring manager, PhD or Masters, executive or individual contributor, or whatever else, CIOP is for you!
The Executive Board members are planning some exciting activities and would certainly welcome your input. Please visit the CIOP Board page to share any ideas about future activities and/or other ways that we can better serve the local I-O community, particularly if you want to get involved somehow. Feel free to just say hello and introduce yourself also. There are a lot of us now, but Chicago I-O is still a small world.
