Dear CIOP Members,
The Boards of both of these organizations
have been working together to bring our
respective members more resources and
benefits. Beginning this Friday, CIOP
members will be able to attend the Division
13 (Consulting Psychology) of IPA for FREE!
All you need to do is email
jthompson@thechicagoschool.edu to
confirm your membership and RSVP for the
event.
The first meeting is this Friday at 8am
and features former CIOP Board Member Dr.
Chris Croner! We hope you find this new
relationship beneficial to your career as an
I/O Psychologist.
Mark your calendars to join us for our
January 18th meeting from 8-10 a.m. in the
Leland Room at Advocate Health Services,
2520 Windsor Drive, Oak Brook, IL 60523.
Consulting Section member, Chris Croner,
PhD. will be presenting material from his
book, "Never Hire a Bad Salesperson Again."
He'll show us a process for avoiding the
financial headaches caused by unmotivated,
underperforming salespeople--perhaps some in
organizations with whom you work! According
to recent research, the most critical trait
for a successful sales person is Drive. In
his 90-minute presentation Chris will show
members how to hire and develop those with
an intense desire to succeed.
ACTION REQUESTED: To prepare for the
session, please bring along your #1 most
difficult question regarding hiring or
developing top performers. The session will
be interactive, and I want to be sure we
address all of your most pressing concerns.
