from Dr. Leaetta Hough
(former SIOP President) on
“Myths, Misconceptions, and Milestones of
Personality Testing for Personnel Selection”
Speaker Bio:
Dr. Leaetta Hough was a founder of Personnel Decisions Research
Institute, and later founded The Dunnette Group, a research and
development firm based in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has been an
exceptionally active contributor to the scientific and professional
literature. She is co-editor of the four-volume Handbook of Industrial
and Organizational Psychology and senior author of the most recent
personnel selection chapter of the Annual Review of Psychology, as
well as the personality assessment chapters in the Comprehensive
Handbook of Psychology and the Handbook of Work, Industrial and
Organizational Psychology.
Her contributions have been recognized by her election as a Fellow
in the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP),
the Association for Psychological Science (APS), the American
Psychological Association (APA), and APA’s Division Five – Evaluation,
Measurement and Statistics. Dr. Hough will join the Advisory Board of
Talent Technology Corporation (TTC) after concluding her one-year term
as President of the SIOP.
