High Learners as High Potentials—The Relationship between Learning
Agility & Leadership Potential & Applications to Talent Management
Correctly identifying high potential leaders is a challenging task
for most organizations. That is, if you can agree upon what it means
to be high potential in the first place. David Weller, Ph.D. of
Leadership Alliance will make the case that Learning Agility, the
ability to learn from one’s experiences, is a strong predictor of
potential.
Based on the work of Lominger Limited, David will present
information on the construct of Learning Agility and research
supporting its use as a measure of potential. He will introduce
Lominger’s CHOICES™ tool and discuss how this measure of learning
agility has been successfully deployed in organizations to enhance
their talent management and succession planning practices.
